New surplus genuine Perkins p#2647A001 gear driven governor for engine model 4.236, model code LE, gas or propane fueled. This is a “new take-off”. It was taken off of a new engine many years ago. Due to it’s age, it was disassembled, cleaned, inspected and reassembled. Buy with confidence, bolt it on and go.
This part is hard to find. Not only is it no longer available from Perkins, it is not even listed in the Perkins parts program. It hasn’t been listed in the Perkins price list for over 12 years. As I recall, the last price it listed for was over $800.
